"Marc Vannelli is quite beautiful and probably the nicest hotel in Oslob. The rooms are quite small but they are modern and very clean. This place is very cool and the design is funky! Unfortunately there are only stairs to the rooms, if you have mobility issues maybe find alternative, but they carry your bags up and down so we didn’t mind. They arranged our visit to the whale sharks with Kenneth and that was perfect. Their guide is the best, use them for a guaranteed experience. Make sure you go to the churches while in Oslob! This area is on the water and is SO BEAUTIFUL. The staff are amazing at Marc Vannell! Salamat!"

"Loved our stay at Eden Resort, we stayed in room 7, they have 10 large well appointed rooms, with large spacious balconies, each with a panoramic view of the ocean, rooms are clean, nicely furnished, with a comfy bed, sitting area, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, however the water pressure wasn't very good and the shelves both in the shower and over the sink were useless as they sloped. The restaurant was comfy with a nice view and food was tasty. The pool was sparkling clean and a lovely place to chill out.The staff were very friendly and helpfull and arranged transport to Oslob to dive with the Whale sharks. This hotel rightly receives high review scores, as it is a great place to spend a few quiet days chilling out, however, we were rather shocked to find they have recently opened a Techno Bar just above the resort, every Saturday they hold a Techno Rave party and blast out the duf duf music until at least midnight, not at all in keeping with the quiet ambience, so just be aware if you are visiting on a Saturday, ask for room 7 to 10 which arent as affected by the noise."

"Personalized service provided by all staff members and quality of food was excellent. Boutique hotel size with a beautiful terrace and a private beach. A few steps from the beach is the house reef which is perfect for snorkeling. The massage service was great and the location out of this world. We arrived after a long flight and needed a place to acclimate and to rest and are more than happy to have selected this hotel. The hotel does offer tours in the area. In a world of hotel chains this unique hotel is a refreshing option and a great value for the product offered. "
