"It was a beautiful property! Like a treehouse tucked away in the jungle, but right on the main strip 5 mins across the street from playa Carmen. Close to great cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. Our check in process went smoothly and the private family room was perfect, except that we noticed quite quickly the AC wasn’t working on the 2nd level in the bedrooms. "So this is a brand new hostel that only opened in late December so it's still in the process of getting their flow set up. The owner Gabi lives onsite and is super chill, friendly and helpful.
