"When you think of the word Penthouse you think luxury. This penthouse was certainly not that. Our main concern was the safety of the electrics which blew repeatedly every night, luckily the owner showed us where the fuse box was so we could reset it every time we were plunged into darkness. We worked out in the end that we could only use one appliance at a time. "Chez Jacques is a very relaxed, cozy place in a local neighbourhood away from the all-inclusive hotels. The surfspots of Tamarin Bay are at your doorstep. Manager Iwan is a genuine friendly guy and very helpful in giving advice about things to do, advice on where to surf, sorting out transport at affordable prices, etc, etc. Enjoyed my stay and without a doubt, would stay there again."

"A delightful three bedroom, 2 bathroom large apartment with modern kitchen and beautiful veranda overlooking the beach. Everything worked well. Also had a common pool and beach umbrella and chaises.
