"Everything was smooth and easy Rooms are very small but it worked out for me because it was just me and my partner Only I convenience was there was no TV but then again we were in vacations so didn’t need it much but would have liked to watch tv for a bit "

"The accommodations were spartan (no hot water) and a bit rough around the edges. But the temperature was in the low 90's the entire week, and so.. a cold shower was in some instances not only tolerable, but necessary to avoid heat exhaustion! Lol. "This is absolutely an amazing location to stay for a few days or a week. Access to the beach is understated. Once you walk down to the beach, you have an amazing view of the cliffs surrounding it. You can swim in the ocean no problem. After the beach, you walk up and jump in the pool and then go in the hammock area to relax. "The grounds were beautiful. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless. We stayed in the Villa Johanna and it was very spacious. It had a living room, kitchen area completely separate from the bedroom. There weren't too many plates or bowls but it was functional for what we needed. The free breakfast was excellent. Alcoholic drinks were expensive as well as the other meals but the neighboring area had a lot of different options that were more affordable. The resort could use some additional lounge chairs. There were days where people would lay out their towels on the chairs and disappear and we would not have anywhere to lay down. We still had a beautiful stay at Boca Olas and would recommend it to anyone going to El Salvador."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were amazing. The manager Gabrielle and staff were very friendly and resposive to any issues. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, good shower with hot water, refridgerator in room, close to the beach, pools were cleaned daily, breakfast was excellent. We were also able to use the Boca Olas amenities next door. The hotel is in a quiet area of El Tunco but close to everything. Improvements that we would have liked are minor: the rooms could use a few extra hooks for towels and the chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable. The front pool area needs a few more lounge chairs and some shade as it is very hot in the afternoon. "
