"We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the Villa Tea Fields if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. "

"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "

"The staff were great, super friendly and we were made to feel comfortable straight away with a fresh hot face towel and a cup of tea, even got a free welcome head massage. Everyone was helpful with places to go as well as recommendations for the next stop of our trip. Your also next to the Grand Hotel opposite Victoria park so location is great but the thing letting the hotel down was the building needs a refurb. Bathroom door didn't shut as the wood had bowed, paint on the walls and ceiling were patchy, needs a little TLC but overall a great looking place and we were well looked after."

"The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. It was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk into town. The next morning we were given a great breakfast and then walked into the tea field adjoining the property. We watched the local women picking and sorting tea leaves. Certainly an authentic experience as we were in their backyard. The staff we very helpful in organising our dinner to be delivered from a restaurant in town for us. All in all, a wonderful experience that we would recommend, along with the amazing high tea at the Grand Hotel in town."
