"One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Super nice room, huge amount of space, two very comfortable double beds. Very nice sitting area, great view. Very nice onsen, and very very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was my first experience at a ryokan. Mainly chose this place because it is reasonably priced with private onsen and shower. The ryokan has both public and 3 private onsen. The private onsen goes by a simple manual reservation system by writing your name on the whiteboard outside the onsen if the onsen is not available. As the ryokan is not very big, there are not too many guests, it isn’t hard to book the private onsen. There is a sink and toilet in the room. Room size is sufficient for 3 adults and was well equipped with amenities, it was also warm and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was provided in the room price. Food is served at the common dining area (not in the room), but even at the common dining area, there was privacy screen that split the area, giving each group privacy. Do note however that you will need a vehicle to get to the ryokan as it is in a mountainous region and nowhere near the train station."

"We stayed at this hotel for seven nights during our Nagano ski trip in late January 2025. The location was convenient, the rooms were comfortable, and parking costs $10 per night. Be sure to move your car before 11 AM and park after 3 PM, as spaces fill up quickly in the afternoon. The hotel has a microwave in the lobby and a Lawson store right downstairs. We’ll definitely stay here again for our next ski trip!"
