"This was a lovely little budget resort. 35 chalets arranged around a swimming pool and garden. The pool was nice with very warm water so could spend ages in it. Sun loungers around the edge. "My first room had no safe and was not clean, considering the price in Thailand I was disappointed. Once I pointed out the safe was not operational they made two other rooms available which were better. The resort is next to the beach we’re there is resturants and a few bars. "Beautiful location right on the silky sands of Chao Lao Beach. Amazing sunsets every night. Delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of choices. The area is a bit out of the way if you don't have your own car but it's worth. You can take buses to and from Chanthaburi and taxi from there. You can borrow bicycles for free at the hotel. All of the staff seem to be very nice and helpful but of course not all can speak English. Special shout out to the manager Wiboon, who made everything perfect."
