"Hello. I was able to extend my stay by two weeks but I had to contact the management company directly. The people were nice and the process was relatively painless. To do this through Expedia would’ve been more troublesome, I think. The part about GGH that I did not like was when the cleaning staff would come in a clean things up. "Great location for Nara main attractions. Easy to find restaurants, next to a market, short walk to Nara Park. The place is new, easy to find and easy to use in general. Few things could be improved. Check in instructions were sent in Japanese only and we needed some codes to access the place so it wasn’t straight forward. "This place is a hidden gem. It is perfect for one or two travellers as the rooms are small but wide enough. The common space offers everything necessary for a good stay (fridge, water, kitchen, 300 yen washing machine, microwave...). Well located near green line and has a 7Eleven at 50 meters. Two rooms only so the common space is well enough. I highly recommand this accommodation."

"飛行機の関係でチェクイン時間に間に合わない旨を事前に連絡したところ、丁寧に返信いただき、夜9時頃チェックインの対応をしてくださいました。チェックインのときも部屋の場所やトイレお風呂の場所と使い方をとても丁寧に教えてくださいました。部屋も一人にしては大きく、他の部屋も近くなかったので快適に過ごせました。和室に泊まったのですが、同じ日の宿泊の人がかなり夜中にドスドスと帰ってきたので、足音などに敏感な方は目が覚めるかもしれないです。今回は、素泊まりでしたが、次回はモーニング付きで泊まってみたいです。民泊初めてでドキドキでしたが、街路樹さんが初めてで良かったです！"

"I telephoned the contact number the day before I arrived. I was given a padlock number. When I arrived at the guest house, I unlocked the padlock to discovered it was like a bedsit accommodation. It was not a guesthouse or even a hotel. There was nothing much to do in Kitanode and it took about 1.5 hours to get to Osaka. So all in all I wouldn't stay here again because it was too far out from Osaka and as I was on my own I felt isolated."

"This was a modern property with everything and more we needed. The onsite restaurant is expensive but there are other options around. Know that if you only have a JR pass and come in at JR Nara it's a 3.5km walk to the hotel - doable in nice weather and because its flat or get on a bus! We loved the new, clean features and the practical laundry was great for travellers."

"近鉄奈良駅から徒歩圏内、にぎやかな商店街が近く、立地は静かで、スタイリッシュなデザインのホテルです。部屋によると思いますが、私の宿泊した部屋の窓からは荒池のほとりに佇む鹿を数頭見ることができて、とても嬉しかったです。次回奈良を訪れた際にも利用したいホテルです。"

"The hotel was clean and convenient to both the train station and the park/area. The one negative is that the hot springs/ public bath that is advertised is an additional charge once you arrive at the property. "

"Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms with efficient and unobtrusive elevators. Well above average attractive restaurant for all three major meals. Responsive concierge services 24/7. Only a couple of the overly numerous front desk staff speak reliable English. As in all Japanese hotels I have used, very poor TV offerings in English, almost pointless. I have stayed at this hotel for two to three week stays in three of the past eight years as I have family in Tokyo. Would have been more except for stringent Japanese COVID restrictions. Entirely honest in billing. Fair costs but well above average for travelers with budget worries who should probably stay elsewhere."
