"Lovely atmosphere old chinese. Right in the centre of the old city. Beautiful place for breakfast, Chinese breakfast did not suit my wife but great coffee and orange juice, i think they own luckin coffee next door. Room was lovely but we are getting too old for a futton on the floor that was the only downside. I think some rooms had softer beds Hotel picked up from train and dropped off great service. Dont really speak english but they had translator on the phone so it was fine. Staff...

The facilities of the hotel are top class and there's an excellent Chinese restaurant - great choice of delicious food at reasonable prices. "The room we stayed in was nice. It was very dusty in Pingyao. I asked for clean towels on the second day of our stay because they were dirty. It was an awkward conversation, clearly they did not want to provide clean towels. In the end they didn’t and we were left to use dusty dirty towels."
