"Asked about transport to downtown. Seemed perplexed at my question, even though it is the perennial question for this property. He kept saying too far to walk, which I hadn’t mentioned. He finally came out with it. Taxi is the only way,he said. which I find peculiar, since the train station can take you there directly and it is just down the street. "Air condition doesn’t work well - it is centrally controlled and cannot be made cooler. Staff brought in a fan. Breakfast is quite limited and sometimes all food are not hot. Quite unacceptable to have no safe and no drawers in the room.. A plus is it has a neighborhood with many types of stores and eateries."

"The location is good if MRT and bus are available (unfortunately the MRT and bus were not in service on the day when we arrived because of Kangrui typhoon so we had to take taxi from HRT station), the staffs are very helpful. We walked outside for most of the daytime and just used the hotel for sleeping. It is worth of the value. By the way, the hotel provides washer and dryer for free even though the dryer took about 3 hours to dry a small load of the clothes."

"This hotel is centrally located in Tainan. It is easy to get to from the main train station by foot, bus or taxi/Uber. It is about a 30 minute ride via Uber from the HSR station and about 40 minutes by express bus. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will greet you every time you pass through the lobby! The room is pretty clean although I did find some high dust. You'll want to run a tissue across the surface of anyplace you want to hang something. (over the shower stall or clothes rack)...
