Casa Bella Vista is a lovely, bright and updated 4-bedroom, 2-bath, pet-friendly home with Panoramic Lake Views, and flat, easy-access parking. This West Shore Tahoe home is located in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood, and offers stunning lake views.

The main level provides a wide-open living area perfect for socializing. Enjoy lake views from the entire living area; including the well-appointed, newly remodeled kitchen where you will find all the amenities you need including a dishwasher, oven and microwave. The dining and living room areas open onto the sundrenched deck by a large sliding glass door which allows sunlight to flood in throughout the day. The comfortable living room with an open fireplace provides just the right amount of intimacy to socialize or enjoy movies. There is a 50” flat widescreen television that has satellite service with a DVD system to watch all your favorite movies.

This top-level also has a Primary bedroom with a queen-size bed and a fully remodeled bathroom. The lower level includes 2 lake view bedrooms with Queen beds (one with another TV and DVD player) and a 4th lake-view bedroom with Queen/Twin Bunk and Single Twin. These bedrooms share a private (not remodeled yet) bathroom.

Casa Bella Vista offers a beautiful gathering place for family and friends to enjoy the tranquility of the lake and its panoramic views. A short drive or walk to Meeks Bay Resort Beach. During the summer, some road noise can be heard outside on the deck. 4WD drive vehicles or vehicles with chains are recommended during the snowy winter months. Parking is limited to 3 vehicles at the property, and 2 cars in the winter due to snow.

Family getaway
Cozy stay for our family getaway. Nice spot that was pet and child friendly. Some of the furniture could use some updating but the location and view definitely made for a great stay.

Beautiful Views
The home was very cozy and had all the supplies and amenities to host a family for a week's vacation. The views are magnificent and the location of nearby shops and restaurants is perfect. This place is just out of the way for a great family retreat but still close enough to partake in everything Lake Tahoe offers. My only complaint is that the door and window screens need replacing as they let in mosquitos and flies. Some of the windows didn't open and since there is no AC it would get rather warm during the day. Otherwise, it's a great home to relax and enjoy family time.

The view was absolutely magnificent and the deck was great. I did think they should upgrade the kitchen. There were no platters, many dishes and cups were cracked, no complete set of the very basics like measuring spoons and measuring cups. They had four mismatched wine glasses in a four bedroom home. Also two blinds did not work at all, several fans were broken and it was 90 degrees in the house during the day. There were cobwebs everywhere inside and outside the house. The NBQ was filthy and it took a long time to clean it. The rug needed shampooing and the interior needed painting.

We had a great time staying at the Penthouse! The view was fabulous, the location was great, and it was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 small kids. It is located between center and west village so it was an easy walk to both. The hot tub was great, the condo was very clean and cozy, and check in was easy. We would definitely stay again!

Lake Tahoe Getaway
Waking up, after arriving near midnight the night before, to the AMAZING view literally took our breath away! The views deserve way more than 5 stars. The kitchen and living room area with floor to ceiling windows also let us take in the spectacular view! The kitchen was well equipped and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. When we come back to Tahoe, we will definitely book here again! We did not want to leave!

Overall, very good. There were some issues with the plumbing making very loud noises at night, spoke with property manager, said they would look into it. Other than that, a very beautiful property, great location, walking distance to Meeks bay.

Best views in Tahoe
Yes if you are thinking of renting a nice house with an absolutely amazing view of Lake Tahoe as well as surrounding snow covered mountains. Then this is the perfect place to vacation year round. Stunning Views!
Views are absolutely stunning! Great layout. Fully stocked kitchen although we did not cook. We did agree with some of the comments that the view was fabulous but the inside furniture was a bit lumpy and bumpy. That’s the only negative, otherwise the house was perfect!

The house has an amazing view. It’s a beautiful home. We can just stay in the house all day and feel rested. I have everything I need to cook our meals. I love the clean white bedsheets and white towels. The beds and pillows are decent. We enjoyed watching the DVD movie collections at night. It’s in the very good neighborhood close to places we went to, the hikes and trails up the mountain. The area wasn’t crowded, we went Monday to Thursday. Pets allowed, thank you! We took our doodle to Monkey Rock, Cascade Falls and Kaspian beach. There is no backyard so we had to walk the dog day and night to do his routine and clean up after him. There is no covered parking. Park on the left side of the house on the road. I’m only bothered that the plates and bowls have cracks and chips but this is a very easy fix. Overall we had the best experience and would love to be back.

I didn’t want to go home!
Spellbinding views and the ambience of the main room made it hard to leave. It’s the best view houses I’ve ever rented With the long daylight hours I wish there was more effective window coverings as I was awake at 5:30 every morning. My only feedback on cleanliness is the outdoor furniture is in very rough shape and did not exactly beckon us to sit outside, which is a shame since that deck is amazing. That said we’ll definitely be back, maybe again later this summer!

Needs lots of upkeep but view and location are great
We also felt like the home could use lots more upkeep, even for a cabin-like place. My main complaint though was that the gas grill provided was a mess. Was very frustrated that I had to start our stay with not only cleaning the grill racks but also clearing out the holes in the burners to make it work. I doubt it's been maintained or cleaned for months. But beyond that, only thing to mention is the view...just amazing. We love Tahoe. :))

Not quite what it use to be
My family and I came to this Tahoma vacation rental in Nov 2020 to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was the perfect place to get away during the pandemic, so well equipped and relaxing. We loved everything about it, especially the view. This year, my husband wanted to celebrate his birthday in the same place again. Unfortunately, our experience was a bit different in 2021. The place is a bit unkept with stains on the carpets and furniture. There was an unchecked leak under the kitchen sink that had leaked into the bedroom below and got my daughter’s clothes wet. In the same room, my dog sniffed out something in the wall. We imagine it was something dead, due to the horseflies that seemed to appear every night (no windows or doors were left open). Would I consider coming back? Yes, if all of these issues were addressed, and I had a guarantee that the management company was maintaining it to the standards we had the first year we visited.

Mixed Feelings - Come for the View
Four adults and a toddler stayed at the property for 4 days. We found it easy to get to and parking was sufficient for our two vehicles (no more than 2 would have fit). The house itself has a beautiful view! The rest of the house is not nearly as great as the view. The house appears to be remodeled in may respects, but we found things were either done sloppily or people who have stayed here haven't taken good care of it. Bathroom fixtures were crooked, window screens were taped all the way around, etc. The tub in the remodeled bathroom had no hot water on our first night, which we called the property manager about. No response when calling the emergency number, but they called us back a short while later. They had a plumber who came out the next day and fixed the issue. The downstairs bathroom appears to be the original bathroom (very outdated) with peeling paint and toilet handle that is barely functional it wiggles so much. (There's a reason they don't have photos of it on the property listing.) I would also suggest that the property manager/owners change out the couch and dining table. The couch is not comfortable as it is not very deep and the cushions are uneven. The chairs in front of the window are much more enjoyable. The dining table is huge, but the extensions don't really fold away nicely for when you have a smaller group. It would be nice if the table could be compacted for smaller groups. The kitchen is updated and functional, though pretty small and there was no cabinet space that was available for us to store non-perishable grocery items. It would be nice if the owners could leave some cabinet space open for guests to use. The washer and dryer worked. The tankless water heater is a good upgrade for the house to ensure everyone gets hot water. We did not use TVs, so I cannot comment on that, but house rules say there is absolutely no streaming, so be prepared for that before you arrive. There is no yard, as you're on a hill, so don't expect a place to play outside. The location on the west side is a bit more remote, but access to food in Tahoe City isn't too inconvenient. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and near a park (just head north up 89 and it's on the right). A side note - as expected in the mountains, there are mice, the property has pest control that services the house, however pest control is using glue traps in the home. It's a shame because glue traps are inhumane forms of pest control - there are better options.

Great View - Needs Cleaning Attention and Home Touches
The house was perfectly located for our trip to hike Desolation Wilderness.The view is absolutely spectacular. All necessary features are provided, although for those who expect a TV in the master bedroom, there is only one TV and that is in the main living area and positioned awkwardly for viewing. The bed and linens were comfortable. Lots of hot water and water pressure was good (I care about my showers!). The downside: There were a ton of spider webs all over. I know that we are in Tahoe, and that there are spiders, but this was an amount that does not happen with regular thorough cleanings. Even the shower stall had very significant cobwebs in the windowsill right next to where you stand. The cobwebs were truly all over, including webs I had to wipe off just to get into the master bed (strung from the wall, across the lamp, over the bed, to the window). And...TONS of big, black spiders were popping up constantly. In the bathroom, master bedroom, kitchen. They say they do pest control as best as possible, but having stayed in Tahoe countless times in the last 40 years, I have NEVER seen this many spiders. This may be a byproduct of not cleaning thoroughly enough throughout the house. The fireplace still had a half burned log and ashes. There is also no attention to decorations. The master bedroom had nothing on the walls except black marks/scrapes. Ditto downstairs. Not very homey. Still - worth the view every morning/night!

View from the main living space is as great as it looks in the pictures. Beds are comfortable, deck is great, living room is cozy. Only downside is that all three downstairs bedrooms share one bathroom, but not that big of a deal. Host is informative and responsive. Would definitely stay again!
