"I ended up with a family room. Plenty of room for a family with a private bathroom. Place was clean and tidy. Right in the centre of Budapest and close to all sights. Supermarkets are close by too, would definitely stay here again. "

"Good Hostel...the staff is very kind. One thing to know is that they have discontinued the breakfast and have a "vending machine breakfast". It's ok...but it is good to know this upfront as they used to do a full breakfast spread. Otherwise....it is a great place, clean, and in an easy to get around area."

"Not the best location, there wasn’t any toilet paper or hand soap. Had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to come on reception to check us in. Very rude and dismissive staff. Rooms were cold, no hot water in the shared bathroom. Walls were thin so could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and outside the door. "

"This was a great hostel in an old building with lots of character. Very clean, too. It was just a few minutes walk to the Oktogon metro station and the trams that will take you straight to the parliament and castle district (change to bus 16 after crossing the river). 3 minutes away is a pizza place that stays open until 2am. "

"Good: Felt very safe at the accommodation and it was very clean and comfortable. Would stay and recommend to others. Very walkable to everything you need (shops) and to walk around Budapest. "The hostel has switched to fully code-based entry. This was awesome since I arrived when there was no staff onsite and could easily enter the building, the hostel and my room without interacting with anyone. The hostel is very conveniently located, meters away from the Airport Express bus stop. Facilities are clean. "This is probably the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in! There was an outdoor seating area for you to enjoy the summer evenings and several kitchen/dining areas all of which were available for use by everyone regardless of where in the hostel you were. "Rooms are extremely hot! poorly ventilated no fresh air at all, room guest are a bit noisy, can’t sleep whole night !!! Great

"Friendly, welcoming staff. Tea/coffee complimentary in reception which was very welcome. Coffee machine in deluxe room. No bar or restaurant but you could purchase tins of beer, coke etc. Room was clean. Bed comfy. Well located to visit attractions in Budapest. Breakfast was ok. Not a brilliant hot selection, but sufficient. Overall a great stay - thank you "

Great hotel overlooking Danube.

"Lovely hotel overlooking the Danube. Nice bar area and restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. Room was a really good size with a fabulous view. The only negative is that the housekeeping was poor. Room was very dusty when we arrived and daily service wasn't great. This wouldn't stop me recommending the hotel though as everything else was lovely and we thorougly enjoyed our stay. "

Excellent experience - highly recommend

"Incredible hotel. Had a fantastic night's sleep - rooms are quiet, sound-proofed, extremely clean, well-designed without a lot of "extras". Had bottle of wine with wineglass and handwritten "welcome" card waiting in room. Check-in/check-out was flawless - reception staff was professional and gracious (I had a very early 3:00 a.m. check-out - was not a problem at all). Located on rakpart/quay immediately around corner from famous Vaci utca (shopping, tourist street), across from Danube River with view of Gellert statue; near 2 tram/other transportation. I've stayed in 5 other hotels thus far in Budapest, and this one is in my top 2 - would happily return. "
