Shabby chic apartment at Theatre in Ortigia island.
Appartamento San Giuseppe in Ortigia is a romantic and refined nest, located in the namesake square. The space is very relaxing due to the wood furniture and the pale colors. The dining room with kitchen is bright thanks to the sunlight coming from the first balcony and it adjoins the double bedroom, where the light enters from the second balcony as well. The shabby-styled bedroom is a welcoming space where our guests will find a beautiful mirror, a chest, a writing desk, and a TV. Finally, our guests will have access to a bathroom provided with a shower and decorated with mosaic tiles in blue shades.
The apartment is located just 200 meters far from Duomo of Siracusa, from the seaside of Calarossa and Forte Vigliena, for a perfect stay. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and heating complete the property for a perfect stay both during summer and winter.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white color of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoiled and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are worth a visit. Not to be overlooked is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.
The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 60 kms away, while Comiso Pio la Torre airport is 110 kms away. The train station of Siracusa is very close to the bus stop for the airport shuttles and 10 minutes walking distance from Ortigia.
