"I had an extremely disappointing experience when I booked a stay at this property. After arriving at Nairobi airport, I took an Uber to the location, arriving just around midnight. Upon arrival, we waited at the gate for approximately 15 minutes before a man came out. He appeared either upset or as though he had been woken up, and immediately demanded to know if the reservation had been paid. "It was too expensive for what was provided. I made the huge mistake of booking through Expedia. I originally did so to get my visa not knowing it was non refundable. When I realized I was paying twice what I should have I tried to cancel and the hotel refused to cancel without penalty. I would not return to this property nor use Expedia again to get a hotel booking. I felt cheated and it impacted my entire experience. Non refundable is a terrible policy. "I stayed one night after 30 hours of travel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Just what one needs after a long haul! Transfers to and from the airport are included which was a breeze! The room was perfect. Just what I needed. The restaurant is open 24/7 which is great for those jet lagged! Highly recommend for airport arrivals and departures. It’s about 10/15 mins from the airport. Thanks again everyone! "

"This hotel was a true to form classic. They were very attentive and classy. I loved that some of the staff wore the tradition clothes and it added a highlight above all the other highlights. The staff are clearly proud to work there and I was proud to stay there."
