"My best friend and two dogs stayed at the home as we visited New River Gorge NP. It was conveniently located to the park and offered a very comfortable landing place after longs days of hiking. We'd recommend additional skillets/frying pans as it was a bit hard to make breakfast with only one, but other than that all was very nicely appointed. Great getaway!"

"Perfect property for someone looking for an older home in a quiet neighborhood. Just a clean and basic house close to New River Gorge National Park. If you want luxury this is not for you but if you want a nice place to stay at a reasonable price close to the psrk this is your place. The GPS does not realize that this street does not connect to the main street but after going around the block it can be found. Only one car can fit in the drive and there are steep steps to the door but the house...

"We stayed Tue-Fri and it was the perfect location to be able to do and see lots in NRG NP - hiking, paddleboarding and The Bridge Walk. Accommodations were just as expected and the neighborhood was quiet. We walked to Tom's Diner for a post-dinner ice cream treat twice during our stay and then along the White Oak Rail Trail for a leisurely walk back to the cottage. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed two nights at the house on our trip to visit New River Gorge National Park in June. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked with kitchen supplies. We walked to Tudor's Biscuit World for breakfast one of the mornings, since it is only two blocks away. Our communication with David was great during our stay and he was quick to respond to any questions."

"Spent 3 days int he gorge with a family of 10. More than big enough for all. Enjoyed sharing memories around the fire and hot tub and the game room saved the night when the entire town and surrounding areas lost power from a wicked storm. That didnt take away from an awesome trip or time at this property. The owners were attentive to every need. We would definitely reserve again!"

House sits across the street on Kanawha River. "Your property was the best choice for us as it allowed excellent space when the weather was not so good. We also cooked and ate most of our meals there. Your deck and the covered area was really enjoyed . . . not just by our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter, but also our Golden retriever and our small rat terrier. So glad everything worked out. We will certainly book our next trip with you!"

We forgot to bring coffee and thought we would have to buy it but we were pleasantly surprised to find coffee provided. Saved us a trip to the grocery store! Would definitely stay again!!"
