The positives were a comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast, and the sole negative was it was cold on the interior (cold outside) with no available blanket and no ability to increase heat in the room."

"The proprietor, Ed, took pride in the establishment. There was time taken and attention to detail in the room, as well as the outside of the Inn, being decorated for Christmas. The room was clean and very accommodating. The Inn was in walking distance to dining, shops, and the train depot. I would definitely stay at Calhoun Inn & Suites again and highly recommend it to those travelling to that area, or for those looking for a weekend get-a-way. "

"We stayed here while we were visiting the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. We arrived in the evening, after check-in time, so they left an envelope at the door with all the information to access our room. "My wife and I enjoyed our stay overall, staff very helpful providing any amenities, lovely garden patio, great location on Main St. Only real sour note was at the very end of our trip...all info says complementary breakfast provided as part of the price we paid for room but when we arrived for breakfast we were notified that we had to pay for breakfast because we went thru hotels.com...staff should have told us that..."
