"Eason town for work and had to leave early it out time in the house was wonderful."

"6 of us girls got together to celebrate a birthday! Everything from the house to location was great! Very close to breweries and Ciderys! Host was great and house was ADORABLE! 10/10 would recommend the hen house! Kitchen had all utensils needed and bedrooms came with clean beds with sheets and extra blankets! Thanks for giving me and my friends a awesome weekend!"

"The old farmhouse has a lot of character, clearly having been added onto multiple times. While quirky inside it is a very nice accommodation with a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The property was clean, well stocked with towels and had very nice linens on the beds. It was easy to find, GPS will take you right to it.We wanted a place to see the stars away from other light sources and this property delivered. "This property is pretty expensive for a one-person weekend retreat, and I was worried I would regret it. I didn't--not one little bit. The house is so incredibly comfortable and spotless and easy. And the sauna is truly incredible. I used it a LOT. The view is lovely as well, and it's an easy drive to some great hikes. I highly recommend this place. "

"We have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both rooms were immaculately clean! Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)"

Family visit

"Went for a visit with family. Avid hotel fit the bill for us. Nice rooms, great breakfast with fresh-ground coffee and water to fill water bottles. Nice touch. Rooms could have been cleaner, particularly the floors. I will stay here again so it wasn’t terrible. Beds are comfy and room was quiet."

"We’ve stayed at this location several times in the past. Staff is always friendly and pleasant. We arrived a little early ahead of check in time but they did have a room ready and allowed us to check-in a little bit early. We just wanted to drop our suitcases off early so we could head out and do some shopping and grab a bite to eat without having to rush back to the hotel to check in. It’s great place to stay and is located an easy drive to most attractions in the Stanton/Charlottesville area."
