Absolutely stunning views, attentive hosts, and a great location. You don't have to stray too far to enjoy many wineries, shops, golf, etc. The private beach is the perfect place to relax.
Our bachelorette party group loved our stay at Willow! Our whole group kept commenting how Willow Winery had the prettiest view compared to everyone else & the best wine, which Tracy and Harry loved to treat us with! They were so friendly and accommodating the entire time. It’s even prettier than the pictures show!
Fabulous experience at the Willow VRBO. The views and accommodations were Breathtaking. We enjoyed local wineries, amazing restaurants nearby towns, rolling hills and an amazing tour and history of Willow Winery. The host(Tracy) went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay! We will be back!
We wanted to stay away from the crowds. The home was unique, in a marvelous location and the hosts were communicative and gracious with their time…and gave us a “behind the scenes” look at the winery. Perfect place and a fun experience.
We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Vineyard VRBO! The owner, Tracy, could not have been more thoughtful. She really made us feel like special guests. The home and property are absolutely stunning! So convenient to both Traverse City and Sutton’s Bay. We loved the view as we drank coffee in the morning and again at night with a glass of wine. Highly recommended!!
This is SUCH a special place to stay. The house itself is gorgeous and spacious with a very well-equipped kitchen for anyone who loves to cook. The winery is stunning and you can't beat the views of the lake. One of our favorite moments was laying out on the grassy hill stargazing late at night - the skies were so clear we were able to see Saturn with our binoculars! We had the best wedding weekend we could imagine and are already talking about coming back for anniversaries. Thank you Tracy for being an amazing host and going above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.
This was hands down, the most incredible rental I’ve ever experienced. It was indescribably beautiful and unique. Tracy is by far the most kind, thoughtful, and wonderful host/human you’ll ever meet. I could go on for hours about her. The “from the vines to the wines tour” was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! We loved every second of our stay. And i cannot wait to return
What a fun way to spend my 40th birthday. House was great for my girlfriends and I… amazing view that I could not get enough of… Grand traverse bay, the moon, the vineyard… loved it!
Definitely a great work out to get up and down to the house but all worth it for that view! Tracy is the best, very accommodating and welcomed us with a wine tasting and her son took our stuff to the house, very thankful for that! All needs were met, and everyone had a great time! The private off site beach was perfect for a lazy afternoon.
Highly recommend if you love great views and great wine!
Our family spent 4th of July weekend at Willow Winery. The vineyard is gorgeous! We had a relaxing weekend hanging out on the patios at Willow and visiting the nearby towns of Sutton’s Bay and Leland. The whole family enjoyed the from vines to wines tour. It was very informative. . Tracy and Harry are very accommodating hosts! They answered all of our questions and were very passionate about their wine. I would recommend a stay at Willow Winery if you get the chance. You won’t regret your decision.
My sister and I..with our 3 boys spent three days at this fantastic property. Details are everything to me and this did not disappoint. From the linens..to the gift bags for the boys..to the private winery tour. The views are so amazing, no photo can capture the experience of this place. It was the perfect place to make memories. The boys loved climbing the hill to the chairs in the evening, it was magical. Tracy was the most gracious and helpful hostess. She was such a delight to meet. To stay there is a gift. So grateful we were able to be a part of it. Thanks Tracy!! ❤️👑
We loved our stay at Willow Winery. The cottage was charming with many historical features such as the master bedroom door. It has ample outdoor space to drink in the view as well as the wine. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were very generous with their wine, supplies and advice. An extra bonus was a personal tour of the winery which we loved and certainly started our trip off right! If I had any suggestions it would be to say there is no shower upstairs in the loft bedroom, and no dishwasher if you were staying longer and intended to cook every night. Also if you are not very mobile the walk way up to the house is steep and may be a problem. None of this kept us from having a wonderful time and we will most certainly be back. .
We enjoyed our trip immensely thanks to the unparalleled view of the bay, sweet French style cottage, and Tracy’s wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities. She ensured my husband and I enjoyed ourselves and was so thoughtful to bring games and treats much to the delight of our children. We have loved sharing the incredible wines with our friends. Cheers to next year!
Quaint Leelanau County Getaway with a Beautiful View
A clean home with a great location and a beautiful view. We loved staying on a working winery as well as the home's easy access to downtown Traverse city, Suttons Bay, Leland, and Glen Arbor.
My family of 4 spent 4 days/3 nights here. The home was clean and nice; and the views were stunning! Tracy was so kind and helpful! We enjoyed this property and would definitely stay again.
The view and location of this property is next to none. It’s the most adorable little cottage on a winery with views of a lake. It’s a magical experience to sit outside and enjoy. We truly loved everything about the atmosphere and set-up, fantastic! Tracy provides little extras like hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, etc. We had plenty of towels with spa robes and slippers too! I would definitely recommend staying here. Only a few little things to consider: The wifi just doesn’t work. Kitchen pans, utensils, and things are sparing. The window coverings for the master let in a lot of light and more importantly heat. The upstairs bathroom doesn’t have a door 😳. The trash situation is peculiar, you have to transport your own trash down to the road vs. putting the can closer. The driveway is really difficult to manage, slippery stone vs normal gravel on a steep hill. They need new gravel and to offer a golf cart or something. None of the issues would prevent me from staying again though
What a wonderful long weekend at Willow! The home is beautiful, and the property is so stunning. It felt like we were staying in the French Countryside for our time there.
The views from this stunning property can not be beat!! The house is beautiful, well equipped and clean. Tracy and Harry are very welcoming and great with communication. They were harvesting grapes while we were there. Being able to get a behind the scene look at wine making was really cool and a very unique experience. One minor warning: it is a steep trek up the gravel drive from the parking area, so pack accordingly 😊Perfect location and great hosts .. we highly recommend staying here!!!
Loved, loved, loved our stay at Willow Winery. Great location on Leelanau Peninsula with a sweeping, phenomenal view of Grand Traverse Bay. House is very comfortable and easily accommodated three adults and my young daughter. And the owner, Tracy, was absolutely lovely and super helpful. We particularly enjoyed the private tour of the winery she gave us, along with lots of local recommendations. Would gladly return again and again.
