"We have stayed at the “Serene & Quiet Cottage” several times. It is always clean and cozy. We travel with our two golden retrievers and the fenced yard is very nice and convenient for them. Communication with the owner is always quick and easy. And the cottage is conveniently located for wineries, Apple Hill, downtown Placerville or other local sites. You do have to pass the high school to get to and from the cottage from Highway 50 or points north, so plan accordingly. It can be very congested...

"My family absolutely loved our stay here during Thanksgiving week! It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a well equipped kitchen. The house was super cozy with a nice electric fireplace and central heating/ cooling - there were extra blankets, a lovely tea/ coffee station, and comfortable beds. We also loved the backyard area, which backs up to a field with two horses that we enjoyed watching. We would definitely stay here again and have a backyard bbq in warmer weather. Great, central...
