"If you want the views this is your spot! The check-in process was incredibly easy. The hosts reached out the first day to wish us well and left snacks for us to enjoy. It was a short drive to the theme park and the historic attractions. Virginia was good to my little family. We will absolutely be back! "

"Great location for our wknd trip with the family to Busch Gardens.The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we needed! The kids loved the pool in the evening. "

"We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. "

"Adorable little cottage felt like home. We had everything we needed for cooking and bathroom was stocked with shampoos, soaps and fluffy towels. Really clean. Beautiful area; took a few great walks in neighborhood with my little dog."

"This was a great place to stay. House was nice and clean, and a beautiful view of the James River. Judy was very welcoming, and open to communication, though we didn't need much during our stay. The location wasn't what I was expecting, but that's my fault, due to lack of researching. However, it's only a total 1 hour drive to Williamsburg, which includes a 20 minute ride on the ferry, which was pretty pleasant. Overall great stay."

"We were here to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family. The double apartment was perfect for 3 couples & 3 grandchildren (21, 17, and 14). It was clean inside and out, had most of the kitchen equipment we needed, and lots of amenities. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed a round of mini golf. Staff was helpful and polite. Thanks for helping us have a great celebration!"

The only thing I didn't give five stars to in my review was the property listing, because the photos simply don't do it justice. "The James River cottage is a quiet and peacful escape. The view of the river is very beautiful and relaxing. The cottage is very clean and neat with a great deck over looking the river.
