"The room/bathroom was very clean & comfortable as it looked newly refurbished. One small point, on our first morning maintenance men turned up at 8.30 am working on the flat roof outside our room. As breakfast was served from 9 am, I would have thought it would have been appropriate to arrange for this work to at least start from 9am when guests are more likely to be at breakfast. I would like to add that all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. "

"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "Good Stay - but could perhaps offer breakfast a little earlier sue to working requirements. The place is very clean and is very close to the town centre. Very friendly owner and the rooms are great. I have stayed here multiple times. "

"Wow !!!food mas amazing very big portions our gratitude to the cook and staff service from the staff top points praise them breakfast was truly great and the stay was great one thing to say would be the room we where in needed the cobwebs hoovered away there where a few it was very spacious and a rare treat was the shower we did stay 2 days we could come and go as we pleased we did book the restaurant.our bed and breakfast was value for money will revisit again . "

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. "Spotless.ly clean & lovely interior design. En suite very good & had a lovely slipper bath. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice to include pancakes & omelettes as well as traditional fry up. "Good value"

"On first entry, we were surprised by the space. A good size lounge leading through to the kitchen dinner. Lovely rear enclosed garden and worth exploring right to the bottom. It does seem quite endless with a lovely suntrap. Spacious bathroom. Lovely oldy worldy wooden staircase to the 2 bedrooms. Very comfortable bed. Visited Sheringham, Sheringham Park, Walcott, Blickling, Cromer and Norwich. Many beach walks with dinner at the Poachers Pocket. "
