Great vacation
We loved this house! It is updated and the perfect size for a big family. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. Owner was responsive as well. House is within walking distance to the beach. We will definitely rent this house again. Very pleased with this stay!

Over all this home is nice. The streets are very tight to pass and to park for larger vehicles. The campground is wonderful. Kevin was very responsive.

Stayed the weekend for a dance competition. House was clean and in great shape. Enjoyed the stay. Very very tight parking under the house but made it work. King beds were very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The house had more than enough room to accommodate our group (4 adults, 2 babies, 3 toddlers, 2 kids, and 3 teenagers). Everything was as described and pictured. Love the fact the the pots and pans were large to accommodate large groups that was a nice surprise! Over all 10/10 would stay again! The host was very accommodating to letting us check in really early and very responsive to messages. We had 0 issues that have been previously mentioned in other reviews.

Fun at OL in October
Loved the location and the amount of bedrooms at the property. The cleanliness was not up to par- found underwear and glasses in one bedroom and a pair of pants in another as well as the floor having dust bunnies and causing your feet to be black as soon as you walked on it. Would be MUCH better if the property was clean.

Had a wonderful time! The only issue was parking. We had our truck in overflow and it got a bad scratch. Busy weekend to celebrate Halloween. We parked three cars at house. We had golf carts to get around. Our Host was wonderful!

House had enough bedrooms for the 11 of us. Close to beach- short walk. Would have liked a table and chairs on deck or underneath the house for playing cards and games. Kevin was quick to answer me and resolve any issues.

This property was exactly as listed. Great communication with property manager. Sent me online checking information that went without a hitch, even got to check in early. Got my parking passes online which streamlined the process. The only compliant I had at all was two bedrooms had dirty bedcovers and comforters but we had brought our own anyway do we just did not use. And the baseboards could have used a good wipe down. Otherwise this property was awesome!

The home has cockroaches! On Day 2, I texted the owner info. with pictures of the roaches and did not receive a response; therefore he must have already known. The pictures displayed of the house reflects nice decks; however they are very small and the banisters were not secured tightly. I was scared to let me small children on the decks. I will never rent from this owner again!!!

Overall Decent Stay
The pictures of the property are very accurate, small bedrooms and living room area. Nice kitchen. The house needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance. Our feet stayed black the entire trip due to the floors, the mattress pads had dirt or something on them, and we saw several cockroaches on the property during our stay. The maintenance problems included the following: the upstairs left bathroom vent leaks, the light switch in the upstairs right bathroom was very difficult to turn on, the front glass door slams (has no catch to it), the top deck has several loose boards, and the bottom deck railing was very loose. The steps seem dry rotted, one broke off during our stay (which we let the owner know about). The outdoor seating area was very nice, included a TV. Overall, our stay was nice. Very quick walk to the ocean, and Ocean Lakes is a nice family friendly campground. The young children had a good time at the campgrounds little water park. Owner did allow us to check in early due to the house being cleaned already, and responded to all emails in a timely manner.

The house is spacious & had plenty of room. Close proximity to the beach. Decorated nicely, but desperately needs a deep cleaning & some maintenance. I made the owner aware of following concerns. He replied quickly that he’d reach out to his cleaning company, but I did not hear anything else from him. Maintenance concerns: The railing gives & is dangerous. I do not allow my kids on deck by themselves. It’s unfortunate to be on vacation & not enjoy the outdoor space. Vent in upstairs bathroom is dripping, hopefully just condensation (maybe air unit coils need maintenanced/cleaned) Glass door slams shut, does not catch to close more slowly. Handle slips off glass door easily. Upstairs shower on right wouldn’t drain so we couldn’t use that shower. Some of us showered in outdoor cause it’s tough only having 2 usable showers. Trundle bed does not pull out, so house sleeps 15. Cleanliness issues: Floors are filthy, after being here for 30-45min, the bottom of kids feet are black. Underneath the Trundle is full of sand & mattress appears stained/dirty. Mattress pads on beds had lose debris, crumbs or something on them. Bedside tables needed to be wiped down. (From what I gather you must manage the property from afar, & you’re paying for a cleaning service & charging guests for assumed services & the company is not providing that service) There was no broom or mop in the house, so we bought our own. There was however a vacuum & leaf blower.

Great Location and owner was very responsive! Kitchen was stock with pots and pans!! My only complaint is the parking! Very tight squeeze for 4 vehicles but when booking it said we had 5 spaces!! So close to the beach and beds were comfortable !

Annual family vacation
Unfortunately we were hit with the tropical storm Debby but our family motto is "We'll make it work." The location is perfect for walking to the beach and the neighbors are friendly. Because of the rain, we played games downstairs with them in the carport. Parking is tight so we parked one of our cars in the overflow lot. We had an issue with the toilet downstairs, but my son (pipefitter) gave it a temporary fix to get us through the week. I notified Kevin who replied immediately and offered to send someone to fix it. Because of the storm, I let him know that my son took care of it. The one disappointment was the cleanliness. Maybe it's my OCD. The coffeemaker had grounds with mold so we cleaned it out but bought a new one to use and just bring home. We washed all of the cookware before using and used paper plates and plastic utensils. We swept, mopped and vacuumed the floors, and washed the bathmats because they were dirty. I should mention that this is our first time using VRBO to rent a beach house at Ocean Lakes. All of our previous stays were through the property. Overall, I absolutely recommend this house for the location and amenities.

July 4th Trip
The house was super adorable and for being in the middle of the travel season was holding up! Unfortunately the vacuum had no suction so the same was hard to keep down. All issues we had were fixed in a timely manner. Nice short walk to the beach and where it is at its tucked into the back corner which made it a little more quiet which was nice for a busy week! I enjoyed our time and would go back.

Great house but....
The house itself and location were great. However, the house was dirty, trash under the bed, molded mattress cover, broken toilet seat. The beds had been slept in. We spent the first day cleaning and washing sheets. I requested a refund of our cleaning and linen fee and to be paid back for the toilet seat we bought. I have yet to receive anything. Owner has not been helpful.
