"The cabin we had was wonderful. Kitchen was stocked so well. It was clean and pleasant. However, if you advertise a restaurant and you are 17 MILES away from everything, that advertised restaurant better be open. We were panicked when the restaurant had not been open for over 1.5 years!!! The thought of going back 17 miles on a country road after driving over 5 hours was a deal breaker. "I had a wonderful time. Paul was a fabulous host. I had my five month old puppy with me and Paul was very accommodating. Paul showed me all of the local beaches where I could take my dog. He told me about local restaurants and attractions that were excellent. I may just return someday."

"Stayed here two nights: it has a wonderful aura. Everything I needed was thoughtfully provided: good coffee, soft drinks, snacks. Enjoyed the deck in the afternoon sun. I loved being walking distance to restaurants and shopping— saw the Dodgers win the first night of the World Series at the Nugget, breakfast at the Summerland Beach Cafe… I felt like I was part of a friendly, delightful neighborhood!"

"The view was great. The kitchen was fine but there could have been basic seasonings provided. There was salt but no pepper. The property manager never responded to my question about EV charging. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a weekend. Summerland is a nice quiet community close to Santa Barbara and Carpinteria."
