"Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. "We had a blast here, little bonfire at night and we played games at the kitchen table during the day. Meramec Caverns is about 25 mins away and we went there for a little outing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners were wonderful."

"We were looking for a space to just get away and spend time together. This met that need. The hot tub was the selling point for us. However, we didn’t do research on what a mineral hot tub is and it had a smell so we didn’t use it. That’s our fault. The location does allow for pets and there was a bit more hair in the kitchen than anticipated. Otherwise, great little get away. Thank you for having us!"
