"Our family along with two other families stayed here for a quick fall getaway. It was the perfect location and size for our group of 11. It had everything we needed including an awesome large outdoor area. Beautiful scenery from the house. That and the amazing weather made it hard to pack up and leave on Sunday! While we were there we went to Heartland Farms in Bourbon. Highly recommend. We are already talking about coming back next year. Can't wait to see how the property progresses!"

"Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. The blankets provided were unacceptably thin. If I had not brought blankets from home we would have frozen to death. I finally gave up and everyone slept in the...

"We had a blast here, little bonfire at night and we played games at the kitchen table during the day. Meramec Caverns is about 25 mins away and we went there for a little outing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners were wonderful."

"The weather was bad the day we arrived but we where very happy with the way the cabin sat, privacy and just a really cute setup. The title i gave is because we had two beautiful bald eagle flying around just off of the back deck on our second day. If you know the song salsbury hill maybe you will understand.
