"Check-in was easy, but things went downhill quickly, the neighborhood was not great, the entry way to the house was littered with trash from overflowing garbage cans and cigarette butts all over the back yard and deck. The interior was cleaner but not great. The house amenities were very limited, ex no coffee maker, 1 useable pan, no spatula etc, etc. The host did respond and had someone come and clean up the trash."

"Had a lovely 4 night stay at Hawks Barn. It is a real home from home and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Awesome location for visiting the many sights the area has to offer, would have loved to have stayed longer."

"The owners of this property have done a fantastic job with the use of space, however the bed arrangements require a full review. The mattress was so uncomfortable I had little sleep the first night, and the second night we actually went home because we could not sleep again. The bed clothing also needs to be renewed, as we could not help but think that it was dirty, although it was not! There is also easy access for slugs, and these were constantly found during our stay."

"1) Property Manager did not respond to any of my messages regarding booking confirmation until the morning of check-in. We were at the airport not knowing if we had a place to stay. 2) Advertised as a gated community. There are approximately seven (7) units off a side street along a narrow alley way.
