"This was the perfect place for me to stay during my first week in Tokyo. I wanted to ease my way into the subway system and this hotel is quite literally across the street. Not to mention, there are multiple convenient stores less than a 4 min walk away. It’s also just a short train ride away from Shinjuku Station. If you’re flying in from Narita Airport (NRT) it is about an hour train ride away, but I wouldn’t let that deter you! It was my first time in Tokyo and my first time taking a subway and I was able to manage it just fine (in the middle of the night, might I add). You’ll take the KS Line (Blue) directly from the airport to Nippori Station, where you’ll then transfer to the JY Line (Green) and ride it to Ōtsuka Station. (Which is directly outside the hotel.) My room was very clean and my overall stay was very positive. I will almost certainly be returning to this location. "

"The hotel room was spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of options. The staff were excellent. I want to thank the staff for helping me find my lost luggage. While I was checking out, a tour group accidentally took my luggage. The hotel staff tracked it down and had it shipped to my next hotel. I had my luggage back in my hands a few hours after losing it."

"We stayed here twice we liked it so much. 10 minute walk to Ikebukuro station. 7/11 around the corner and sunshine city is only 5 minutes away. The bed was not the most comfortable but the front desk provided extra pillows and blankets"

"There was hair in our bed, the restaurant attached to the hotel overcharged me after heckling us in, and there was a no tattoo rule on their big bath so it felt like what few amenities offered were a scam or only for Japanese guest. I ordered a a drink (500yen), a juice(300yen) and fried chicken(650yen) from the restaurant and was charged 3200yen. I asked for a receipt and they refused. I eventually just gave it to them a left but the hotel being attached to such a shady restaurant was a huge negative. "
