"We spent two wonderful nights at the Clandeboye Hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The decor and very impressive and modern. The food for both breakfast and dinner was of a high quality. It is perfect for a couple of quiet relaxing days. "

"The hotel itself was exceptional. The staff were the most helpful and friendly I’ve ever come across in a hotel. The free breakfast was very good. The area the hotel is situated appeared run down. And the walk to the city centre from the hotel was 20 mins which was a little further out than we would have liked. Having said that there was always taxis available if needed. "

"Arrived earlier than expected and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff who checked to see if our room was ready. To our delight the room was ready and we were able to check in. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.The beds were great with really good mattresses.The continental breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our journey home.The rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and spacious and well worth the money paid. If you didnt bring your car there is a bus station and a taxi service located a short walk from the hotel which can be a real bonus at times. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at The Donard Hotel and would definitely return."
