"We were in town to celebrate Christmas with our family in Winnipeg and this house was just perfect for our family. The location was ideal - close to main routes to get to shopping, restaurants and amenities. The house was very clean and well stocked with spices, coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the kitchen & shampoo/conditioner in the showers. "I’m impressed at the location of this property. On my first morning, I walked towards The Forks. There are others walking, so I didn’t feel uncomfortable. In the night time, the neighborhood is quiet. The property is well renovated inside with modern amenities. The host is very accommodating and communicated well. "

"The bedsheets were not changed from previous resident.. got bed bugs..the monthly tenant was drunk all night and day.. yelling at both other tenants. He shut off heat in the middle of night, woke up freezing,which caused me to get sick. Very very dirty. Old food in fridge and food spill all over. Most hideous place ever. This place is not suitable for this site"

"The character and location of the house is amazing. The pool was not clean, it was green and that was one of the main reasons we wanted this place. So we couldn’t use the pool. Our bedding was old brown blankets, one had smoke burns in them the others smelled bad. We had no dish towels so we cleaned with paper towel,the facilities weren’t stocked we had to go find towels, soap, extra toilet paper. Those little things we would have put up with if the pool worked. We also had to unclog the drain...

"I stayed for a couple of weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the the house was warm for the season. I will return if I'm able. My little dog needed to be carried up and down the stairs but that was a minor concern since he only weighs 11 pounds."

"My son and I had to travel to Winnipeg for doctor appointments and were there for 4 nights. The 2 bedrooms had very comfortable beds, and there were plenty of dishes in the kitchenette. Very clean property. Check in was easy. There are no condiments or coffee provided so just remember to bring your own. We could hear the family upstairs occasionally but it wasn’t disturbing at all, just a reminder that you are sharing the house. I would recommend this property. It wasn’t far from St Vital Centre...
