"My sister and I had a really lovely stay at the Glenburn Hotel over the weekend and it was fabulous to see it open again after the new owners re-opened it earlier this year. A truly iconic hotel with lots of character, stunning views over the harbour, lots of history, and much to offer. We will be returning to the hotel again in 2025 when further refurbishment works during Dec to February 2025 are finished. All the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Michael, Niall and Debbie in the main reception and also to Thomas who looked after us during our stay which was acknowledged and appreciated. Good luck with ongoing renovations which will be appreciated by a future guests staying at the hotel. "

"Had a long stay at the property, the accommodation is very spacious and clean with loads of amenities. Locations is great with just a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The views from the living room bay wjndows is breathe taking. Would definitely recommend staying here "

"While we were very happy with the accommodations, the clear high points of our short stay were the "above and beyond" helpfulness of the staff and the excellent restaurant and breakfast offerings (on our 1st evening in Scotland we were pleased to enjoy wonderful fish dishes &, of course, Haggis!!!)."

"Sadly we were unable to enjoy the break as much as we would have liked. Absolutely nothing to do with the resort. Quite the opposite! I unfortunately took unwell. Peter, the First Aider could not have been more attentive and dialled 999. He stayed with me until the Paramedics arrived. I was Blue lighted back down to Dunoon and kept in overnight. Once I had seen the doctor again the following morning and released from hospital. Portavadie sent Josh, a duty manager the 1.5 hours down to pick up me and my wife and return us to the resort. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such care anywhere else in the past. "
