"So peaceful and quiet and everything has been so well thought out. The bed was so comfy, and the addition of the electric heater in the bathroom was perfect; it made the hop over the to the toilet in the middle of the night bearable. It’s open year round so we’ll definitely be back when it’s colder and we can have the fire going! Wendy was absolutely lovely when we arrived and our daughter made a new friend in her wonderful dog."

"Booked as a surprise for my partner. Arrived after dark which made it feel even more special as felt so secluded and added to the element of surprise. The property was spotlessly clean and in a superb location. "A perfect weekend escape pad. Superbly cosy shepherds hut. Absolutely loved the outside kitchen… even though it rained relentlessly on the night of our stay the kitchen and outdoor dining was such fun. Kitchen kit was plentiful and well thought out.. shame it wasn’t fire pit weather! However, we had the best time and look forward to returning before too long.. thank you for a great weekend stay."

"The most idyllic cosy weekend retreat. We absolutely loved our stay fully immersed in nature with just the sound of birds, rain and the crackling fire in our cosy shepherd’s hut for the weekend. Breakfast in bed was perfect thanks to the supplies Becca kindly left for us. Watching the sunset and moon rise against a sky full of stars each night was also very special. "Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "
