"We stayed for a week in December during a hard time for our family, and the property was just what we were after; rural, quiet and calm, with a lovely pub just yards away. The only issue we ran into was that the dishwasher was too small to clean the plates provided. But the owner was pleasant, the wood burner made things cost, and the bathroom was clean. Napton is a lovely village with a really good local store, and the Folly pub is fantastic. This property would work for a couples’ mini-break...

"House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere...
