"Had the most relaxing weekend away in this beautiful cottage. Perfect locations for pubs, restaurants shops, walks, Chatsworth Christmas market and easy local buses to Bakewell. Liz was a fantastic host and helped so much. She recommended places to visit, eat and even provided us with takeaway options. "Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. "We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again"

"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay...
