"Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks."

"Great homely guest house near the seafront in Westcliff. Comfy bed and spacious room. Tasty full English breakfast. Nozzle on room radiator was broken but staff were able to turn it off for me. They stored my luggage the day I left. Would definitely return!"

"Room was good. Ungortunately 1 drawer was full of old McDonalds cartons. The staff cleaned it as soon as reported. Some noise from neighbouring rooms throughout night"

"The self-checkin is very self-explanatory and easy! Charming half-timbered look but mod cons not missing . "

"Overall very happy with the room and the stay. The bathroom being separate from the room the towels would be better left in there. Bed was comfortable however the bed moves if you’re resting against the headboard which is attached to wall and not bed. The shower head needs to be attached to the wall as there is no holder to use it unfortunately there was a boiler in the way "
