In the spring or after a rainfall you can hear the waterfall from the deck offering next level serenity. A beautiful medley of poplar and spruce trees line both sides of the property to add to the beauty of the private large landscaped yard. A fire pit at the center is sure to keep you warm and ready for an evening of entertainment. Rural conditions leave you with well maintained, slow traffic roads for walking or cycling. Being a part of the Canadian Shield also adds endless off trail excursions for hiking on Canada's finest rock outcroppings.
Inside the cabin you will find a nicely updated space with lots of bright windows and a true earthy, airy feel. Starting with the cute entrance sunroom area is a 4 place setting table for evening relaxation to a game of cards or a glass of wine. Enter the open concept living area with full kitchen complete with island and most common cooking fixings. A dining area for 6, spacious living room with 55" smart TV, super comfy couch arrangements, and a woodstove if your stay happens to be in winter. Extended outside the living room is a master bedroom with queen bed, and half bath ensuite closet combination. Down the hall you have a generous sized main bath with glass/tile shower. Two more bedrooms complete your journey at the end of the hall with a queen bed on one side, and a loft bed with double underneath in the other. Playpen and crib can be made available. Cabin is complete with limited data Wifi Internet.
In the area you will find a close by store (Tall Timber Lodge) with full selection of beer, wine, or spirits as well as necessities for food or consumables. Also located is a 5000' private airstrip. If you are planning to fly-in, please call the private airstrip owner to gain authorization use.
Within a short drive you can find hiking trails, biking trails, white water rapids, the Old Pinawa Dam, a large suspending bridge trail and endless nature to explore. Lac Du Bonnet is only a 20 minute drive up the road.
WINTER: At the heart of snowmobiling in Manitoba! Right off the main trails that connect you to every other trail in Manitoba! A snowmobilers paradise, recommend a 1 week minimum stay to take in all that snowmobiling has to offer out here!
SUMMER: Boating, fishing, swimming, tanning, hiking, biking, the opportunities are endless as you enjoy the friendly waters of the Winnipeg river system. Being between two controlled flow hydro electric generating stations, the water level is always consistent.
