"Beautifully rustic and out of the way. Wonderful hosts, large updated room with a double shower. Breakfast just OK. Must have a car. Nearest restaurants 15-20 min. away."

"There are no words to describe how amazing this property is! From the moment we arrived, the staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. They greeted us by name, which was absolutely wonderful. We were given a tour of the property followed by lunch. The food at this Castello is simply divine. Everything is farm-to-table and they only use the highest of ingredients. "We really enjoyed the pool especially with the heat wave. However it was especially hot in the house and additional fans or ceiling fans would have been welcomed in the bedrooms on the ground floor. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates, cutlery etc….Coffee machines were a plus. (The only problem we encountered is the fact that the property manager sent us a lease contract, which was a bit confusing, since we were dealing with VRBO. On that contract it mentioned that the balance...

"If you are in the southern part of Tuscany, this is the place to stay. Very near the national park and beach park. Easily drove to the Etruscan ruins near Soriano over the mountains, about an hour and to the ancient hot baths to bathe in near Saturnia. Great breakfast buffet made by the proprietor’s mother. It is also a winery and had some bottles of their terrific wines. "

"host was gracious; however, no hot water.....next to road so noisy. Ok, but probably would find an alternate place to stay. Not really lived up to what other reviewers said."

"The hotel had magical views, the pool area was very nice, i would recommend taking bug spray with yourself since you are in nature. The restaurant had amazing food. The staff were nice and accommodating to make our stay amazing and memorable. 10/10 would recommend!!!! "

"Mieliśmy bardzo udany listopadowy pobyt w cichym, czystym i cieplym miejscu , pośród toskańskiej przyrody,, z dala od miejskiego hałasu który mamy na codzień mieszkając w dużym mieście. Jedyne czego się obawialiśmy tylko że będzie trudno znaleźć domek, jako że przejeżdżaliśmy późno wieczorem ale mapy prowadziły doskonale a sama posiadłość była oświetlona i nie było w związku z tym żadnych problemów z trafieniem tam"

"We had a wonderful stay at Gitavillage. There are big play ground for kids. The facility is very big. Best is the private beach with free umbrellas. The beach is quite big and sandy. Was very quite. Highly recommend the place and will definitely stay here if we come back to this area. "

"Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is an exceptional hotel offering a stunning view of Val d'Orcia, a beautiful valley in Tuscany. The picturesque surroundings provide a truly memorable experience for guests seeking a peaceful retreat. The hotel's ambiance and service are top-notch, creating a luxurious and comfortable stay. One minor drawback that I encountered during my visit in the winter was that the temperature of the indoor pool was not as warm as I would have preferred. While the pool area is undoubtedly lovely, it would have been more enjoyable with a higher water temperature, especially during the colder months. Overall, Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is a fantastic choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Tuscany and indulge in a luxurious hotel experience. "The staff were kind, positive, pleasant and will to help. A person in my travel party arrived in the breakfast hall only a few minutes before closing time. Rather than just start closing up a staff member was kind enough to ask us if we needed more time. Consequently, the breakfast was presented well and was very well rounded with a great assortment of hot and cold options. They have large elevators, underground parking, and many other amenities that a modern hotel should have. Finally, I noticed that a number of the teams that often place in the middle/lower tier teams of the Italy professional league have chosen/choose to stay in this hotel, so I’m certain it’s been vetted extensively. I know where I will go next time I’m in Grosetto."
