"My husband, children and grandchildren spent a wonderful 5 days at Love Point Idyll. The house is large and beautiful with great views of the bay and wildlife. We took many walks around the property when the weather permitted and when we weren’t visiting nearby DC. The house was well stocked with necessities and Hal was extremely gracious and quick to answer any questions. We had so much fun and the family is eager to go back for another visit. "

"The desk personnel were great. They were very friendly courteous and helpful. Channing was especially helpful with checking in. I had requested a handicapped shower but the room I reserved had a tub. Channing got together with Housekeeping and found me a room with all my needs. I had to wait for it to be cleaned but the staff was so nice and helpful I did not mind waiting. When you have courteous staff it makes a big difference."

"Our boys lacrosse team stayed at Camp Wright for a few days during Spring Break 2025 while we moms stayed across the street at this awesome house with so much character! It wasn't warm enough to enjoy the pool but we made great use of the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen was also perfect for our needs. May not be your cup of tea but I loved waking up to the rooster's crow. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! (But don't use the front stairs.) "

"Really comfortable rooms. Quiet and large rooms. The swimming pool and hot tub were great. Gym facilities looked good but weren’t used. Breakfast not too bad "
