"We felt very cared for. The restaurant for dinner was delicious. Breakfast were good but simple. Don’t expect bacon/eggs/waffles. Staff was very friendly. 20 minute drive to Vik. We’d stay there again!"

"Easy access to everything "

"The Garage is our favorite lodging during our 15-day trip to Iceland. The property is very well-appointed with all the amenities we need. The surroundings of this property are insanely beautiful with a majestic waterfall behind the apartment we stayed and the bay in the front. We hiked up to the waterfall twice during our 1-night stay to enjoy the different sceneries at night and in the morning. We arrived on 6/17, the national holiday of Iceland, and were fortunate to have a fruit cake baked by the owner to celebrate. It was super delicious. Did I mention the two playful dogs and a cute cat? They are lovely! Definitely a fantastic and indelible stay!"

"A terrific place to stay near the Black Sand Beach and other local sites. It was very quiet, the room was large and very clean, and breakfast was great. The only downside was there was not a mini refrigerator in the room, but this is true of every hotel we stayed in outside of Reykjavik. Truly a wonderful stay."

"Very nice hotel (for the area) , none/poor signage outside, but typical of area. rooms are very small and basic, but typical for area. Very clean and recently updated. Bathroom is tight squeeze for big guys. No A/C , open the window. 6” round night table. No dresser, just a clothes bar and two cubbies."

"Wonderful night at Bru Guesthouse. Master bedroom bed was really comfy. Could use a tv in master bedroom. Sofa bed mattress was a little too firm. Views are spectacular. "
