"This is a wonderful cottage in a gorgeous area. My husband and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and remote experience on the Isle Of Skye. The surroundings are stunning and the cottage itself is so warm and welcoming. Very clean, size and layout are comfortable, kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Living room area relaxing. Cottage in back and front are bonuses. Parking was no issue. Owner is very thoughtful with providing information about the area. You can tell it is well kept and loved. Can't say enough about the restaurant at The Stein Inn. Best food we had on our trip. Loved walking to Skye Skins and their yurt for coffee. Great location to explore Dunvegan Castle, town of Dunvegan, and Neist Point. Very small grocery in Dunvegan where we were able to buy all we needed. Although small compared to other areas, we loved driving and exploring the Waternish Peninsula. Just gorgeous. Be sure to visit the Trumpan church ruins and graveyard. Interesting history and the views are incredible. Search for Donnie's honesty box on the other side of peninsula for his tablet. A real treat. Finally saw Highland coos on the drive! This cottage was one of those places we didn't want to leave."

"Really unique accommodations. Very quiet and private "hides" or huts tucked on a hill overlooking beautiful Skye landscapes. A central building with an awesome dining room, bar and game/relaxing area is steps away. Check-in was fast and easy with friendly and professional staff. Only meals we ate here was breakfast and it was great. Service was great. Coffee was great. Poached eggs on avocado toast was great. Fruit and croissants were also great. Just a 10-12 minute stroll to Portree Harbor. Highly recommend. "

"We had such an amazing stay at the Cuillen Hills Hotel. First, the weather in Skye this week has been perfect, just gorgeous. The room was comfortable, we opted for a premier room with a view of the water and the Cuillens. The setting of the hotel, on the water with the mountains in view cannot be beat. The food was delicious. But most notably, the staff were so helpful and accommodating. I hurt my knee coming down the Storr and they went out of their way to help. Ice packs, room service, arranging a taxi to a meal, and more. Thank you to everyone there! "

"the accommodation is spacious and perfect for home cooked foods if you want to dine at home after a long day exploring the Isles. a walk early morning to the Look out Bothy to see the sun rise with my dog is one of our favourite things. a short drive takes you to the Quiraing hills.perfect sunsets & if you lucky the northern lights at Duntulm which is walking distance or a very short drive are amongst the best places to see these from. and the local farmer Alan. well Alan, is a great friend to acquaint, always cheerful as are his amazing working Collie sheep dogs. thank you Lorraine a great host to a wonderful part of Skye. we will return to this happy place :)"

"Absolutely stunning. This hotel feels like it is at the ends of the earth, but it is so worth the effort to get there! Our room looked out on the North Sea with sweeping, gorgeous views. The staff was the best - all helpful. They suggested hikes in the area and pointed us to things the locals enjoy, making our stay even better. The restaurant was terrific - excellent food and staff. We loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning soon. "
