"The quality and cleanliness of the hotel property in general and our room in particular were excellent. The staff was great. The room comfort was great, but on a somewhat hot July day air conditioning would have made it perfect. The included breakfast was excellent and we had dinner the night before and the authentic German meals were reasonably priced and VERY flavorable. Would definitely recommend and stay again!"

"The room we were given was horribly outdated - purple shag rug, beat up sectional sofa that seemed pretty dirty, dirty chairs, and a strange smell that caused us to keep the windows open even though it was quite chilly outside just to air it out a little. "Very clean, comfortable, easy to check in and out. Loved that it's been remodeled from a school. Ran into the cleaning staff on the way out, and they were very friendly. If you don't mind a little walk to get right into the center, this is a great choice for a budget. "

"Very close hike to town and Wartburg castle. We only used taxi from and to train station. Room was small but very comfortable. Bathroom was larger than expected. "
