"I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. "This is the most fantastic hotel anyone could hope for !!!!!! In the states the price would be twice as much. Everything about this property is superb and beautifully maintained. If you want to visit the Wartburg castle this is the place to stay . We cannot rave enough. Our meal in their diningroom was worthy of a five star hotel ! "

"Very close hike to town and Wartburg castle. We only used taxi from and to train station. Room was small but very comfortable. Bathroom was larger than expected. "

This is a bed and breakfast, so we did not expect a kitchen, but although the description said there was dining for 4, there wasn't. We had a sofa and a coffee table. "I found Eisenach out of a guide book, and this hotel from Hotels.com. It is close enough to everything, but far enough off the main square to be quiet. It's mostly residential, so I'd suggest breakfast AT the hotel (which is great) - there are no quaint coffee/ breakfast places within a couple blocks. The property has many rooms, including meeting rooms (if you need any), and is accustomed to accommodating groups. I was very pleased w the stay, and with my visit to Eisenach. "

"Room was spacious, but the most disappointing thing was BEDBUGS. All the beds were contaminated with bedbugs, and we were all badly bitten by bed bugs. Upon entering the room, we noticed some weird smell. But unfortunately we did not recognize until the morning of our departure that the smell was coming from the bed bugs. The hotel should stop accommodating guests in the rooms which are contaminated with bed bugs. At least the room #2 should be closed until all the bed bugs are exterminated."
