This 2- Bedroom + Loft + Den condo functions as a 4-Bedroom has been nicely renovated throughout, and has good amenities onsite, yet comes with an affordable price. A few of the features you'll enjoy include hardwood flooring throughout the main level, beautiful marble like Corian counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, reclaimed barn-wood fireplace, and vaulted ceilings in the living room and loft. The condo has a consistent, clean, mountain chic style and decor throughout.
On the main level, there are two bedrooms with Queens, ideal for couples. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom. Upstairs, the 3rd bedroom and loft bedroom each have multiple beds, making them ideal for singles or kids. The third bedroom is a Twin over Full, so if your group has 3 couples, this condo still works! This 3rd bedroom also has a large HDTV, a couple of comfy chairs, and an original Nintendo video game system, complete with controllers and games. Designed as a place for kids to hang out, we know that some parents will find the nostalgic call of childhood video games too much to resist. In this condo, there are a total of 4 HDTVs, which will allow any media loving group the opportunity to spread out once you're home from a day of adventure. The condo and the development offer some additional benefits to travelers. In the condo, enjoy free Wifi, your own washer and dryer, a warm and trouble free gas fireplace, a covered balcony, and nice views of the mountains. The development has a couple of hot tubs and in the summer, the pool opens. There are a couple of BBQ areas, a playground, and right down the street, Whistler Park is a great place for kids, with a large playground area, large flat fields, and charcoal grills.
The location of this property is a nice benefit. This development is located at the corner of Walton Creek Road and Whistler Road, where the free city bus picks up every 10 minutes. Getting anywhere in town is easy, no car needed.. However, this particular condo is actually closer to the intersection of Walton Creek Road and Village Drive, which means that walking to Gondola Square is actually pretty doable, especially if you're renting your skis with free overnight storage in Gondola Square! Just head to the right from the parking lot, slightly uphill for about 50 yards, and then you have a nice flat sidewalk leading right to Gondola Square. Another option is to walk across the street from the bus stop, and follow the paved path along Burgess Creek right to the Gondola. Summer guests will like Gondola Square just as much as winter guests, as the base area comes alive with so many activities, events, shows, concerts, and festivals. With Burgess Creek flowing through it all, the base area in summer is a great place to be, and with no snow on the ground, an even easier walk than in ski season. This development is also right up the street from the Yampa River. From here, you can walk, stroll, or bike along the Burgess Creek Trail and the Yampa River Core Trail, which follows the river all the way into Downtown Steamboat, about 3.5 miles away, and then keeps going!

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on. If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc.
