"Great owner and staff. Friendly, helpful and pleasant in every way. Nice night life bar area and a great German style breakfast. Arrived too late for an evening meal but based on how busy the eating areas were I would expect the food to be excellent too. A must stay if anywhere in the area. We drove from Colmar and was well worth the drive."

"We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. Each hallway is named after a different European country, with the individual rooms named after major cities, which fits into the theme of the European guesthouse. "I had a terrible experience with Villa 12 Guesthouse. I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. But to my surprise, the main Gate of the Villa 12 is tightly closed, and the guesthouse building looks dark, did not seem there were people living in it.
