"The views from the property are incredible. The breakfast is great. The other meals are great. Service is great too. Only two things I did not like: ONE: There was a very low wifi signal in the room and I would not recommend the hotel to anyone who needs to work and as cell phone signals at the property are low too. TWO: The bathroom exhaust did not fundtion. So the smell remained in the bathroom for a LONG time."

"Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. You may get locked out if you are a late night player. Turns absolutely dark at night even the walkways and stairwells to the rooms, so keep a flashlight on hand. I give 2-3 stars, only for the...

"Parking is an issue here albeit it’s an issue for everyone. Easy enough to park at huge parking lot at bottom of hill . Rooms are spacious, beds a little soft . Linen’s are excellent as well as pillows. Walk in shower a big plus . Close to everything here . You can get close to Hotel via “Local” taxi . "

"Excellent choice of hotel for stay at Shimla. Though The Family Room was a bit small for a party of three adults, it was adequate for our needs. The breakfast choice and selection was plentiful and staff went beyond to cater for our needs and made our stay enjoyable. Dinner at hotel was one of the best. Food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay here again for our next visit. "

"I loved the experience. The staff very helpful specially lakshay at front desk. He allowed us to do early check in because they had the room available. I liked the food we ordered. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s in main Shimla. Few steps away from Oberoi Cecil. We took the room with valley view and really enjoyed the stay. I love the architecture of the property. The way it’s built is cute and impressive. "

Avoid at all costs, Horrible experience

"My stay at Hotel Rajdoot was a complete nightmare. From the moment I walked into the room, I was appalled by the level of uncleanliness. The sheets looked like they hadn't been changed in weeks, with stains and an unpleasant odor that made it impossible to sleep comfortably. The bathroom was even worse, with mold in the shower and grime on the floor. It was clear that proper cleaning was not a priority here. The service was equally abysmal. The staff were rude and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of interest in addressing my concerns. When I mentioned about clean sheets and towels, it took hours for anyone to respond, and even then, they acted as if I was asking for something unreasonable. It felt like the staff didn't care about the guests at all. Overall, Hotel Rajdoot was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The lack of hygiene and the terrible service make it a place I would never recommend to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay."
