"It’s a lovely old hotel. I’ve driven by a few times and always wondered what it was like inside. It didn’t disappoint! Beautiful old floors and woodwork. Nothing cookie cutter. The bar is gorgeous, but the sound did not penetrate-even with a band playing. Room was clean, plenty of towels and temperature control was quick to change, so very comfortable If you like old buildings this is for you Only one word of caution. You do have to carry your bag up a staircase, so don’t overpack!"

"I really like the location of this hotel. A couple of notes that if you do not like seafood then the smell from the restaurant will overwhelm you. As soon as you step in you can smell it. I was on the 5th floor and it was up there. The gym was equipped but the wipes were bone dry and after telling the front desk nothing was done to replace it.
