This spacious property sits on a large, private lot with breathtaking views of the Stanley River and offers direct beach access right from the backyard. Relax in beach chairs by the shore or explore the water with the provided kayaks and life jackets.

Inside, the open-concept main level features a bright and airy living, dining, and kitchen area designed to bring your group together, all centered around those gorgeous river views. Step out onto the wrap-around deck with plenty of seating, a fire pit, and stairs leading down to the beach. The main floor also includes a powder room and a large master suite with a king bed, ensuite, walk-in closet, and water views. You’ll also find a full bath with a stand-up shower and a convenient laundry area near the garage—perfect after a beach day or Island adventures. Upstairs, a cozy loft bedroom with a king bed overlooks the main living space.

The lower level walkout opens to the backyard and features a spacious rec room with a sectional sofa, smart TV, and board games. Two bedrooms on this floor—one with a queen bed and another with a queen plus a double Murphy bed—offer plenty of sleeping space. A full bath with lovely river views rounds out this level.

Wonderful fall getaway

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was the perfect place to relax and spend time with friends. Highlights were evening fires with beautiful sunsets over the water & morning coffee on the peaceful back deck. Location was perfect a quiet drive to Cavendish!

Harlow, Harris & Kavanagh Mini Vacation

When we arrived at “The Privateer” we were flabbergasted, as our niece’s choice of accommodations far exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 10 and the accommodations were phenomenal. There was absolutely nothing that we needed. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen was stocked with everything one might need. I.e. Oyster gadgets, lobster pickers and even a burner and huge pot to cook a feast fit for a king or queen, even a cupboard filled with games. The grounds were well maintained with an assortment of beautiful trees and shrubs. The outside fire pit area was close to the shore with stairs to gain access to the water. During our stay we were able to observe a parade of lights and fireworks directly from the deck. We were in close proximity to many of the tourist attractions, yet our accommodations felt very private. Our only complaint would be that we had only booked for three nights and should have stayed a week. The owners have thought of everything that a family would need to make their vacation getaway memorable. We will be back again to this “PEI Oasis”
