"Driving in it was really quaint but seeing the big pole barn really ruined the wilderness feel. It was a very cold weekend which we knew going into it but the cabins could be better insulated or they could use better heaters. Maybe improve the electrical so you don’t have to unplug a heater to run the appliances. "We enjoyed this beautiful home with our growing family. Plenty of room for all. Cozy living space with the nice fireplace. Large table for dinners, games and puzzles. Arcade games were a hit. Hot Tub was a plus! If the weather was better the yard was very nice for outdoor fun, but we did build a snowman and then it melted away the next day. Host was very accommodating as we changed the date. Highly recommend. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The composting toilet is not something we are used to by any means, but with a lighted candle and the easy directions it wasn’t too bad! The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were extremely responsive. The fire wood was wet, our lighter was broken and they helped us right away. If I ever need to come back to the area, I would stay here. Thank you!"

"Beautiful house with lots of amenities and a great view. The house needs some maintenance done. Towel bars loose, wall/ceiling damage, and the LVP floors are in terrible shape with sharp broken edges in dozens of places. The steep driveway is terrible. I tried various approach angles and every time my front air dam scraped on entry and exited, on a AWDSUV. "

"Cabin has a wonderful overlook of the lake & is very cozy. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the property. We were in town for a wedding but it felt like a mini vacay! Way better than staying at a hotel and we may just come back someday for an actual weekend away! "

"We were there for a November wedding in Rush City and the location was perfect. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise across the backyard lake. Knew then what a great location it would be for a summer get away, too. Just a beautiful setting. Also appreciated the longer drive so the house seemed secluded. "

"This property was like a little German cottage- adorable, comfy and cozy. My (adult) kids loved going out on the lake with the provided canoe. We really enjoyed having people over and using the provided grill to make dinner. We’d love to go back. "
