"Really good value for money. Comfortable, and always got a quick response from hotel about keeping my room on when extending my trip. Only negative would be the shower wasn’t too powerful. But overall happy with the hotel and would definitely go back."

"The Fleece inn, was a little hidden gem. Was a great pub that was furnished and decorated to a very high standard. They food was very nice and very good value. All the staff were very friendly. I would for sure Go back! "

"We've now stayed here on numerous occasions and always a pleasure to come back. Very peaceful & relaxing, with the benefit of the pool - especially when when it's blowing a gale outside! Service & food excellent, next door at the Dog & Gun. I'm sure we'll be beack again."

"There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."

"Read mixed reviews before my stay. Found it quite pleasant. Some people may find access outside of bar hours difficult as it’s via the fire escape. Location is good. A short walk to city centre & plenty of places to eat & drink in the immediate vicinity. It’s an old building but room was clean & adequately furnished & decorated. "

"Lovely period property and rooms. Close to cafes and pubs. Staff helpful. Only down side, no food on site other than self service cereal type breakfast, however lots of lovely cafes nearby. "

"Everything was fine. Very comfortable and clean apartment. Frederique made us welcome , met us on arrival etc. Good value for money."

"Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "

"Great location, beds a bit firm for my liking but it’s all personal preference. 2nd bedroom was turned into single beds but the positioning of the beds meant that the door didn’t close fully. Also the hall light was on a sensor and couldn’t find a switch to stop it - not great in the middle of the night when the door doesn’t close."
