Sapphire Village Resort Condo:

Enjoy our smoke-free, fully air-conditioned, Studio with beautiful unobstructed views of the nearby islands of St. John and the British Virgin Islands. This unit is located just a short stroll from the beautiful white sand Sapphire Beach and its protected tropical coral reefs and is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, TV, blender, toaster, hairdryer, etc. Beach towels, beach chairs, and cooler are available for our guests.

On-premises, there are several freshwater pools, a restaurant, and a bar located next to the lower pool.

At the adjacent Sapphire Marina, one can rent jet skis, powerboats, and charter other larger boats and sailboats to cruise, fish, snorkel, and scuba dive or simply do some island hopping to nearby St John and the BVI.

Sapphire Village is located less than ½-mile from the inter-island ferry docks of Red Hook and the American Yacht Harbor Complex, where there are many restaurants, bars, and shops. In addition, Red Hook offers other convenient services such as a bank, pharmacy, and various food stores.

Coki Point Beach, Coral World Ocean Park, and the horseback riding stables are located 10 minutes away by car, taxi, or bus. Magens Bay, Mahogany Run Golf Course, and the duty-free shops of downtown Charlotte Amalie are located about 20 minutes away depending on traffic.

Villa just as described

We had a great 4-night stay at this villa. The place was clean and convenient to the beach and several restaurants. You do need to load up in your car and make a quick drive to the public parking area to get to Sapphire Beach, but it was not a big deal. Having several restaurants close by (1 within walking distance on the property) was very nice. We would stay here again.

Winter Getaway / Birthday

We stayed on Sapphire Bay, Beautiful view from our room. The condo was perfectly situated, sits on the tip of the hill so it's very quiet. There was one pool right off the front door of the Condo, and a1 block walk to the water restaurants, bars. There was no need for a car. Euta who was the onsite contact person was Wonderful. Lourdes(owner) was also fabulous as far as communication. We would stay in a heartbeat .Thanks Lourdes and EutaMike and Ellen S

Great Vacation

It was very clean and very nice with friendly neighbors and nice pools and beach/bar access. The only thing (that the owner can't really help) is that there were rolling black outs for 3 nights of our stay and it would get extreamly hotin the unit.

Lovely spot on the island.

Great quiet place

Easy to get to from Red Hook. Owners are very responsive. Pool was private and poolside grill perfect. Room was clean and perfect size for the two of us.

Clean spacious studio with a great view

Great location with a short walk to Sapphire Beach and 5 minutes drive to Red Hook. The studio has been recently renovated. It is very clean and has a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. There is a nice restaurant on the property. The owner of the studio is a pleasure to deal with.

Nice property for a short stay. Larger than it looks in photos. Would be good for business travelers as well. Liked having a kitchen, bed was comfy, and shower was nice. Great beach chairs provided also. Only down side was the weird clicking noise made by the AC. It worked really well with the fans but the clicking was odd and woke me up the first night.

Outstanding Experience!

Sapphire Village is a great location and we found public transportation (Safari and taxis) to be very convenient. This is the first time we didn't rent a car in the Caribbean. Lourdes' studio was exactly as described and more. The unit has been updated and met all of our needs including beach towels, chairs, and a cooler. I can't say enough about Lourdes and Euta in terms of their communication with us before our trip & during our time on the island. We very much enjoyed our stay in St. Thomas and plan to come back next year!

I just don't understand why anyone would rate this property anything less than 4 stars at the very least. I'll say this. It's not the absolute best room I've ever stayed in, but it is extremely far from the worst. Everything was at our fingertips, and very clean. Lourdes Cordova sent us a few courtesy emails informing us of all the particulars of the property, and what was expected of us during our stay. We have been on our honeymoon, and hate leaving. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend Sapphire Village Condominiums to anyone traveling to St. Thomas. Thank you very much Mrs. Cordova, for everything!

This unit is on top of a very steep hill, like in San Francisco, at the end of Sapphire Village. Be warned, if you are walking anywhere, you will have to walk up this very steep hill when you return! Also, there is not 24/7 property management. The manager does not work every day and won't be able to supply you with something from the locked storage closet until she returns to duty. This is an example of one of the many things that sets apart a condo rental from a hotel. There is no balcony and the windows don't really open, but there is a pretty water view from the room and it's conveniently close to the safari bus stop to RedHook, village pool and local restaurant. The beach is about a 15 min walk and there is a laundromat on the grounds. Though it is a relatively large studio compared to another studio where we stayed in Sapphire Village, there is not a lot of storage space, which can be a challenge if you are there a while and have two people. Overall, though, it was an ok place to stay for a few nights in the lovely Sapphire Beach area. The only major upset was when the owner took 12 hours to reply about extending our time after our flight was changed.
