"The ensuite apartment is located at another building, just 2 mins walk from the reception. it is well equipped and very beautiful decoration. We had good time staying here. My mistake I overlooked that breakfast is not included, and it is not allowed to pay extra for the breakfast which disappointed us. "

"Lovely hostess (Pauline) very welcoming and helpful suggesting places to eat, all of which were excellent with regard to food & atmosphere. The location of the Barn is very central and nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes away (traffic permitting). Highly recommended!"

Lavender Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms

Fantastic stay

"Property was clean and fresh. It's a lovely quaint cottage with all mod cons. Loved listening to the ducks in the evening and in morning. The only downside is there isn't a corner shop nearby for any last minute or forgotten items. There is however an Aldi and Morrisons not far by bus with stops outside so ideal if you don't drive. Would highly recommend and will be booking again. Thank you xx"

"Loved it. The staff and licals were so friendly. The breakfast chef was deserves a special mention. Very handy for osborne house which was the main reason along with our annual keyes family forum were the main reasons for visitong. Especially poignant as my jusband was due to arrange this years get together. And this was his idea. Unfortunatley he died before he coukd achieve this so i stepped in. "

A relaxing getaway.

"We had a wonderful time and some much needed relaxation. I would go for a room with a lakeside view as it is beutiful and to look out on. Just watching the herons and swans, from our room or from the bar was lovely. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Gary, the night porter. We will definitely stay again. "

"My fiancée and I recently had the most wonderful stay in Newport. The building itself is truly stunning, steeped in history that added a unique charm to our experience. Beyond the beautiful architecture, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We were also particularly impressed with their breakfast service – the selection and quality were truly outstanding and a delightful start to each day. We left feeling refreshed and with fantastic memories of our time here. Highly recommend for a truly special and memorable stay!"
